Navigating October's Astrology
The astrology of October is truly fascinating. We will be experiencing so much shifting energy that it could be an opportunity for a quantum leap if you're ready for it. We will be experiencing an Eclipse in Libra, a Full Moon in Aries, a Cardinal Grand Cross and several planets changing signs.
Mercury transitioning to Scorpio will not shy away from darkness.
October 2nd Libra Eclipse:
As we start the month we will experience a New Moon & Solar Eclipse in Libra. This is a cosmic rebalance in the Libra area of our charts. A New Moon is a powerful opportunity to plant seeds of intention. Give them time and watch them sprout in the spring of 2025. Add the eclipse energy to the equation and you have even more momentum to propel these dreams forward. As a collective, it feels like a tremendous release of partnerships that are out of whack. We are also in a highly karmic year and Libra is the judge. Karmic closure or openings in spirit contracts. Something is being made right, a course correction.
Oct 9th Jupiter RX in Gemini:
Since late May of 2024 we've been experiencing the expansion of Jupiter's transit through the Gemini part of our charts. As a collective, this has been an information overload! Tons of communication, a lot of networking and messages in the media.
When Jupiter turns retrograde this month, we have an opportunity to review and reflect on all of the information we have been receiving. This is a great chance to recap and make sure we didn't lose anything valuable in the onslaught.
Oct 11th Pluto direct in Capricorn at 29 degrees:
This transit has my attention! Pluto has been cruising Capricorn since 2008 with themes of transforming the Capricorn part of our charts by reworking our relationship with authority, ambition, power and control. As a collective, we have been slowly but steadily revising Capricorn themes such as leadership and institutions as well as discipline, responsibility, and the pursuit of long term goals. Pluto wants to dissolve outdated systems, corruption, and inefficiency. This transit finishes up at the critical degree through November and will leave us forever changed. I expect this to be absolutely astounding on the world stage. Keep your eyes on public figures, people in leadership roles, seemingly "foolproof" or indestructible industries as the 29th degree DOES NOT come to play. Whatever is corrupt, inefficient, or essentially failing will not survive as we enter the next chapter.
Oct 13th Mercury moves into Scorpio:
This intense transit has us going DEEP in our communication. Mercury in Scorpio is focused on uncovering hidden truth and is hard to shock. We will want to get to the bottom of things and it will be difficult for secrets to stay buried. Our ability to receive clarity and intuition will be magnified.
Oct 17th Full Moon in Aries:
LET THERE BE LIGHT! A spark in the dark. This is a cosmic boom in the Aries part of our charts. Expect a jolt, a spark, an activation. This energy is quite powerful and will have us stepping into our own inner authority to release the parts of ourselves that are held back. We are fired up, motivated and confident to harness this energy with a warriors spirit.
Oct 13th- 17th Cardinal Grand Cross:
The four houses in your birth chart that have Aries, Libra, Cancer and Capricorn will be in a dynamic power struggle. Imagine being all fired up for high energy transformation while being at a four way stop. This will be incredibly potent on the worlds stage, especially with the brewing momentum of Pluto going direct in Capricorn and the Aries Full moon. There is a call to push humanity towards a rapid and potentially chaotic breakthrough. The north node is almost done transiting Aries and the focus has been on honoring our authentic self and not indulging the south node in Libra. Do not compromise your identity to keep the peace. Stay strong and honor who you REALLY are.
Oct 22nd Sun in Scorpio:
Our passion for transformation is even more magnified. The thirst for authenticity is heightened. We have the strength to face the shadow and explore the corners of our minds and souls. We are able to embrace the darkness and the season of endings as a powerful tool to move forward. Transmutation. Metamorphosis. Death. Rebirth. Scorpio burns all the way down to the stump in order to regenerate. We hold ourselves to the fire of transformation and prepare to become the Phoenix from the ashes.
